puente de plata

del 24 de septiembre al 10 de octubre 2007 se lleva a cabo la exposición "puente de plata" en la galería del tiempo de la uam azcapotzalco (méxico), como parte de la serie de talleres y conferencias impartidas por carles codina, maestro de la escuela massana (barcelona), durante su estancia en méxico

en esta exposición participaron diferentes escuelas de joyería, entre las cuales estuvo hablando en plata, galería/taller donde he aprendido practicamente todo lo que sé de joyería hasta la fecha... y dentro del espacio reservado para esta galería, a mi me tocó presentar 5 piezas que tuvieran como común denominador el trabajo en alambre de plata

esta fue mi primer exposición dentro del ramo de la joyería y ha sido una maravillosa aventura!!!!... desde diseñar y preparar las piezas, ayudar con el montaje, poder platicar con carles codina y luisa teixidor -también de la escuela massana- y conocer un poco más sobre la visión catalana de la joyería y su futuro... toda una experiencia!!!!!

from september 24 thru october 10 2007 the silver jewelry exhibit "puente de plata" ("silver bridge") will be open at the galeria del tiempo in uam azcapotzalco (mexico), as part of the cycle of lectures and workshops that carles codina from the massana school(barcelona) gave at mexico city

at this exhibit you could see the work of different mexican designers and artists that produce and design silver jewelry... one of the galleries invited to this exhibit was hablando en plata, gallery/workshop were i have learned almost everything i know about jewelry so far... and at part of this gallery, i was invited to this exhibit, showing 5 pieces, all of them produce with silver wire

this was my first exhibit and it for sure was an incredible adventure!!!!... designing and making those 5 pieces, setting up the exhibit, being able to talk with carles codina and luisa teixidor -also a member of massana school-, and learn more of barcelona's view of the jewelry and its future... definitely a great experience!!!!
