orejeras tlaloc

de octubre 1 a noviembre 2 se llevo a cabo en el museo de arte popular de la ciudad de méxico la exhibición de los proyectos participantes en el premio nacional de la plata 2008.

este año participe por primera vez en este certamen y lo hice con el proyecto "orejeras tlaloc", inspirandome tanto en los ornamentos prehispanicos utilizados por nobles y guerreros de diferentes culturas como las maya y azteca, asi como en la tendencia urbana del piercing, la cual ha retomado el uso de estos ornamentos

from october 1st thru november 2 the folk art museum (map) at mexico city held the exhibit of the participant projects of the 2008 silver national award.

this was my first try for this award and for it i designed the "tlaloc earplugs", inspired by aztec and mayan ornaments, as well as modern piercing earplugs.
